Firefly Signals: what 1,000+ algo trading strategies see today, free.
Every evening after the close, the same rule-based strategies that run Firefly's algo trading vote on 100+ NSE stocks, US stocks and major coins — buy zone, wait or avoid — and rank Indian mutual funds by the same rules, so an SIP decision rests on something you can read. Signals publishes the result — the vote, the strategy families behind it, the median stop and exit — so you can judge the engine for months before you ever run it. It is in beta: the numbers are real, the pages are still being shaped.
Signals are based on technical analysis. Backtested and past results do not guarantee any returns. Not investment advice; Fintrens is not a SEBI-registered adviser.
The engine's daily output, in the open.
Buy zone, wait or avoid, from the share of strategies bullish versus bearish. Green, amber and red mean those three things and nothing else.
Which of the seven strategy families are voting which way — trend, momentum, mean reversion, breakout, volatility, quality, macro — so a verdict is never a black box.
Where the bullish rules place their stop-loss and take-profit for each stock, so you see the risk the strategies accept, not just the direction.
Best stocks to buy today, why the market is falling, sector and theme lists, stock-vs-stock comparisons — each answered from the strategy vote, dated, and rewritten after every close.
Equity and hybrid funds ranked by the same families — trend, momentum, quality, volatility — on their NAV history, with category and risk profile. For choosing or reviewing an SIP, not for timing it.
No live prices, no intraday tips. Signals is an end-of-day read of what systematic rules see, published in the evening.
Advisor, Coach and Allocator are built on this output. Signals is where you can inspect it today.
Six pages worth bookmarking.
What is still changing.
- Coverage is 100+ instruments; the full universe Firefly trades will be added market by market.
- Charts and 52-week ranges use end-of-day data that is still being wired in for some names; those pages say so.
- Page layouts, wording and the ad placements will change as we learn what readers use.
- Tell us what is wrong or missing — every page has a feedback link — and we fix it in the next daily build.
Asked about Signals.
What it is
Is Signals a tips service?
No. It is the published output of rule-based strategies: for each instrument, the share of strategies that are bullish, bearish or neutral, and the levels they use. It is information about what the rules see, not a recommendation to you. Fintrens is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst.
Why is it free?
Because it is how you check the engine before you trust it with capital. It is supported by advertising and by people who go on to run Firefly's algo trading on their own account.
What does beta mean here?
The strategy votes are the real daily output of the engine. What is still changing is coverage, some price data, and the design of the pages. We label it beta rather than pretend it is finished.
Reading it
What do buy zone
Buy zone: a clear majority of strategies are bullish. Avoid: a clear majority are bearish. Wait: no consensus. The thresholds are on the methodology page and are the same ones the algo trading products use.
How often does it update?
Once a day, after the market close for each region: India in the evening IST, US after the New York close, crypto at 00:00 UTC. Mutual fund rankings refresh when the day's NAVs are published, usually late evening IST.
Are the mutual fund rankings recommendations?
No. They are the strategy engine's read of each fund's NAV history, grouped by category and risk profile. Which fund suits you is a question for a SEBI-registered adviser or your MFD; Signals gives you the numbers to take into that conversation.
Can I get it as data?
Firms can, through the Advisor API (the former Robo Advisory feed). Individuals read it on the site; a personal API is not offered yet.
