Editorial policy & corrections — Fintrens
How Signals pages are generated, who stands behind them, how advertising is kept apart from the verdicts, and how errors are reported and corrected.
Last updated 11 October 2026
Generated, not written
Every verdict, count, chart, table and answer paragraph on a Signals instrument page is generated by software from Firefly's strategy signals and market data. No analyst decides a verdict, and no page is edited by hand to change a number. The sentence templates behind the answer paragraphs are written and reviewed by the Fintrens team.
Who stands behind it
"Fintrens Research" on a page is the byline for the output of the Firefly engine plus the templates above, maintained by the team at Fintrens Technologies Pvt Ltd — see about us. There is no individual analyst byline because no individual decides a verdict.
Timing
Pages are regenerated after each batch of signals and show the date their data is as of. On market holidays the last trading day's data is shown and labelled; dates are not refreshed when nothing changed.
Independence
Advertisers and referral partners have no influence on verdicts, lists or rankings. Ad units sit in fixed slots and never inside the verdict, the answer paragraph or the FAQ. We do not accept payment to feature an instrument.
Corrections
If a price, count or company detail is wrong, email services@fintrens.com with the page address. Confirmed data errors are fixed at the next regeneration; systematic errors are disclosed on this page.
Conflicts
Fintrens operates the Firefly engine and its customers trade with it. Fintrens staff may not trade ahead of a page regeneration.
