An AI assistant that answers your investment questions from your own portfolio.
Connect your broker or upload a holdings statement and ask in plain English: what am I overexposed to, why did my portfolio fall today, what does this stock's consensus look like, what would a stop at 4% have done last quarter. Firefly Advisor answers with numbers from your account and the same 1,000+ strategies that power Signals, and shows its working.
Early access opening late 2026 · opens your email app with a short note to us · no newsletter, one email when it is ready.
Fintrens is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Advisor explains and analyses; it does not give personalised investment advice.
An AI investment assistant, or AI portfolio manager, is a conversational tool that reads your holdings and market data and answers questions about them. It is what people searching for a robo advisor in India usually want: a robo advisor puts you in a model portfolio by questionnaire, while an AI assistant works from the portfolio you actually hold and explains it. Firefly Advisor is Fintrens' version: built on the Firefly strategy engine, grounded in your actual positions, and explicit about what it does not do — it explains and analyses; it does not tell you what to buy.
For advisors, distributors and apps: the Advisor engine as a service, available today.
The part of Advisor that firms need already runs — it used to be called Firefly Robo Advisory. The same buy-zone / wait / avoid verdicts and strategy breakdown that power Signals, delivered over API into your app, or straight to your clients on WhatsApp and Telegram, with curated equity bundles rebalanced on your schedule. You keep the client relationship and give advice under your own SEBI registration; Firefly supplies the engine and the audit trail.
Verdicts, family breakdown and exit levels as JSON; REST and webhooks.
Curated equity packs by risk profile and sector preference, rebalanced on a schedule you set.
Suggestions to your community with your branding and your disclaimers.
Every suggestion logged with the rules that produced it — what a compliance review asks for.
Built on the engine you can already check on Signals.
Answers use your positions, cost basis and history — from a broker connection or an uploaded statement — not a generic example portfolio.
When you ask about a stock, Advisor shows what the Firefly strategies currently say about it: buy zone, wait or avoid, with the family breakdown you see on Signals.
Attribution by position, sector and factor for any day or period, in one question.
Stops, position caps, sector limits — ask what a rule would have done to your portfolio last month or last year and get the number with the drawdown.
Every figure links to the price, filing or Signals page it came from. No confident guesses.
Read-only access. Your holdings are never used to train models or shared with third parties, and you can disconnect in one click.
Said before launch, so it does not need saying after.
- Tell you what to buy or sell. It explains, analyses and calculates; personalised advice needs a SEBI-registered adviser.
- Predict prices. It reports what the rule-based strategies see today and what happened historically.
- Place orders. Advisor is read-only; execution lives in Firefly Terra, Nova and Meta on your own broker account.

Asked about Firefly Advisor.
Is Firefly Advisor a robo advisor?
It is the next step from one. A robo advisor in India (robo advisory services are offered by several brokers and RIAs) asks a risk questionnaire and places you in a model portfolio. Advisor starts from the holdings you already have, answers questions about them with sources, and leaves the decisions with you. The engine behind it is available to firms today — see the section for advisors and apps on this page.
Is Firefly Advisor an investment adviser?
No. It is software that answers questions about your portfolio and the market with data. Fintrens is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and Advisor does not give personalised buy or sell recommendations.
What data does it use?
Your holdings and transactions (via a read-only broker connection or an uploaded statement), end-of-day prices, company filings, index data, and the Firefly strategy engine's daily output — the same numbers published on Signals.
Which brokers will connect?
Angel One and Zerodha at launch, using the read-only scope of their APIs. A CSV or PDF holdings upload works with any broker.
Will it work for mutual funds?
Yes for holdings and allocation questions (CAS upload). Strategy consensus is available for listed stocks, indices and major crypto assets.
What will it cost?
Early access is free. Pricing will be a monthly subscription, announced before general availability; early-access users keep their pricing.
How do I get early access?

What happened to Firefly Robo Advisory?
It is now the firms side of Firefly Advisor: signals over API, bundles and WhatsApp/Telegram delivery for advisors, distributors and apps. That part is available today; the conversational assistant for individuals is what is coming.
Is Advisor part of Firefly's algo trading?
It sits on the same engine. Terra, Nova and Meta are Firefly's algo trading products — they place orders on your broker account in India, the US and crypto. Advisor reads the same strategies to explain your portfolio; it does not trade.

One email from us when early access opens. Until then, the strategy engine behind it is public every day on Signals.
